Dandara: Cedar House

North Berwick

Award-winning property designer and developer Dandara was established in 1988 with the aim of providing value-for-money homes and offices without compromising on design, durability or quality. It has since become one of the UK’s largest independent property development companies.

Dandara’s homes combine high-quality finish with style and practicality, and have won the company more than 100 industry awards for architecture, design and quality.

Dandara has been a client of Virtual Resolution for several years now, and we’ve created virtual imagery for a number of their fantastic projects. Their new development at Barley Brae in North Berwick is another great scheme that we’ve thoroughly enjoyed working on.

The homes at Barley Brae aim to provide smart and modern 21st century living, with energy efficiency features and flexible open-plan spaces combined with style and durability. The site comprises a mix of two, three, four and five bedroom properties in detached, semi-detached and bungalow styles, all set within thoughtfully landscaped grounds.

The Cedar is an impressive five-bed detached home with an integral double garage. Large windows and glazed doors fill the property with natural light. An open-plan kitchen-dining area provides a focal point for relaxation and entertainment, and three of the five spacious bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.

Virtual Resolution created a 3D virtual tour to help promote the sale of Cedar House. 3D virtual tours are part of a range of architectural visualisation services that we provide for clients in the construction industry, including property developers such as Dandara as well as architects, interior designers and marketing teams. Our in-house artists are trained in both architecture and graphics, meaning they are skilled in creating detailed and accurate 3D imagery for this sector.

Architectural visualisation can include 2D and 3D animation, CGI and virtual tours. It is a highly effective way of projecting the vision of a future development, and can therefore be a useful resource at all stages of the planning and construction process, from design to pre-planning, and presentation to marketing.
