Why visualisation has never been so important

For more than a decade, the VR team has been using visualisation and CGI to bring imagined spaces to life. Our hyper-realistic images of proposed interiors and exteriors have been invaluable to our clients in taking their projects from concept to completion.

The limitless opportunities offered by visualisation stand in sharp contrast to the limitations that the coronavirus pandemic has imposed on pretty much all aspects of our lives, including the way we work.

On-site and face-to-face meetings about new development schemes have become more difficult, and it’s no longer as straightforward as it used to be for people to get together and talk things through.

At a time like this, the use of CGI and visualisation has never been so important. It can assist with planning and meetings by showcasing a proposal on a screen when people are unable to meet in person.

High-quality visualisations of a proposed scheme can communicate all the elements of a space or structure in an engaging and understandable way, before a single brick has been laid.

The hyper-realistic element of CGI representations can be used to great effect in presenting various visual aspects of the design. It can allow the viewer to study the tiniest details or dimensions of a structure or space, or make the soft furnishings of its interior look so real you could touch them. Or it can allow the viewer to see it from afar and sense its scale or how it sits within its environment.

The images can be sent to designers, architects and clients anywhere in the world, enabling them to work together without having to meet in person at all. Flaws and issues can be spotted and ironed out in the virtual world before they crop up at the planning or construction stage. Designs can easily be tweaked and alternative options explored and experimented with. It makes the whole process more time-efficient and cost-effective.

In addition, these images can then be utilised further throughout the whole development process, including consultation, construction and marketing.

VR creates high-quality visualisations and CGI for a range of interior and exterior schemes. Get in touch with us to find out more or click here to see examples of our work.
