Cardiff and Hatfield
University accommodation developer Fusion Students describes its portfolio as ‘the perfect alternative to student halls’, offering high-quality living for people attending some of the UK’s top universities.
Their accommodation is a far cry from the traditional image of student digs, with stylish apartments and studio rooms combined with communal spaces including dedicated study areas, a cinema, games room and karaoke room. It’s perfect for those looking for a complete student lifestyle package under one roof.
The relatively new sector of high-quality student accommodation is becoming ever more popular with both UK and international students, creating a buoyant market, and Fusion’s latest developments in Cardiff and Hatfield are due to launch in September this year.
The Cardiff accommodation, called Zenith, is set in the city’s new Capital Quarter and is within walking distance of Cardiff University, with the Metropolitan University also close by. It comprises a range of two, four and five-bed apartments and studio rooms, along with a sports centre, wellness room, and even a ‘Skybar’ on the 25th floor.
The development in Hatfield, called Luna, caters for the growing student population at the University of Hertfordshire. It offers a range of studio rooms, alongside social spaces and an on-site restaurant.
Virtual Resolution’s team of creative artists has a wealth of experience on projects within the property and construction industries. With a background in both architectural and graphic design, our artists are able to create accurate and detailed 3D imagery to complement a range of schemes.
We worked with Fusion on photo-realistic 3D stills, animation and a full UE4 VR environment for both the Luna and Zenith developments, bringing them to life while construction work was still underway.
Resources such as 360 degree virtual tours offer the company engaging and immersive material for use in their planning and marketing activity. The detailed, accurate and realistic 3D imagery gives a true-to-life vision of the development before it has even been completed, informing planners, potential contractors, partners and investors, and attracting prospective residents.
